Political Leader of the Movement for Social Justice  David Abdulah and General Secertary, Ozzi Warwick will both be presenting papers at the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies (SALISES),   University of the West Indies   (UWI)  at a symposium entitled  “Whither the Left in the Caribbean?” . 

the MSJ Political leader is expected to address the symposium on the topic  "Left and Progressive Politics in the Caribbean  Challenging or Succumbing to the Status Quo", while the  General Secretary  presents on the topic " The legacy of Chavez in the influencing the rise of a new alternative vision for the Americas".

The 2018 edition of the symposium will be chaired by the Director of SALISES, UWI St. Augustine Dr. Hamid Ghany where he is carded to give the opening and closing remarks . this year's event is in part  celebrating the UWI's 70th Anniversary.
